Courses in the certificate program can be applied toward the educational units required for the Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) exam. Certificate Requirements

Complete the four required courses and two elective courses with a grade “C” or better within 5 years of the first course in the program. Submit a Request for Certificate upon completion of the last course.

Certificate Candidacy

To apply for a certificate in Fund-Raising, please submit your Application for Candidacy along with a $125 nonrefundable fee to UC Irvine Extension, Student Services. Applications must be filed before completing the third course in the program.
