Overview
In today's very demanding workplace, managers are constantly challenged to find
new and innovative ways to involve and motivate employees and increase productivity
while improving the company's bottom line. The primary objective of this program
is to give managers an understanding of the managerial functions, roles, and
skills necessary to be successful and more effective.
The courses in this toolkit address current vital workplace issues, such as the art of managing, coaching and mentoring, building and administering budgets, communication, decision making, and performance management. These courses serve as the building blocks to create a foundation of knowledge for managers or to supplement management skills for those with experience. Together, these topics provide the basis for both short-term and long-term success.

Award Requirements
A specialized studies certificate is awarded upon completion
of four required and two elective short seminars. For a certificate
