OCTANe@UCI connects Orange County entrepreneurs and investors to high-technology researchers and high throughput projects at the UC Irvine campus.  We provide scientists and inventors a forum to exchange ideas to accelerate and foster innovation. 

OCTANe@UCI, through its affiliation with OCTANe, will promote greater understanding of the role entrepreneurship and innovation plays in Orange County by delivering peer-to-peer professional development programs including the OCTANe Funding Series, Meet the Researcher Series, Technical Forums, and the Annual Financial Forum just to name a few.

OCTANe@UCI’s program objectives:

• Create a peer-to-peer network among entrepreneurs, inventors, researchers, investors, corporations and professional service providers to stimulate innovation and grow industry in Orange County.
• Provide a forum for UCI researchers to showcase cutting edge research.
• Offer educational programs that provide support, advice, valuable information and networking opportunities.
• Establish an environment of inclusiveness among universities, business industry sectors and community organizations engaged in investing, innovation and entrepreneurship.
