An elective course in the Paralegal Certificate Program. Eligible participants will earn up to 30 hours of general MCLE credit based on attendance.
Gain the foundation of knowledge useful to corporate paralegals. You will be introduced to corporate entities such as Business Corporations; S-Corporations; Private and Public Corporations; and Non-Profit Corporations. Explore Secretary of State foreign and domestic qualification requirements, mergers & acquisitions, and dissolution of corporations. Learn the mechanics of corporate formation, federal and state securities law, annual corporate filings, and amending articles and bylaws.
Kai Williamson, B.A., has over 15 years of combined experience in Real Estate, Corporate and Business Law. Williamson is the President of the Orange County Paralegal Association and Chairperson for OCPA's Corporate Real Estate section.
