A required course in the Management of Business Contracts Certificate Program.
Making sure that your contracts are financially sound and managing the financial aspects of your business contracts effectively are crucial to successful contracting (whether you are buyer or seller). In this course, you will learn how to structure cash flow through financial methods that include invoice timing, pricing, overhead considerations, advance payments, letters of credit and other financial sources. You will also gain a comprehensive knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, reporting, auditing and settlements. Enhance the profitability of your business through prudent contracting financial practices. University of California, Irvine Extension is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider (provider number 2560). Eligible participants will earn up to 30 hours of general MCLE credit. MCLE hours are based on the actual number of hours a student is logged in to the course, up to a maximum of 30 hours. This course is conducted through our online course management system. Majid Safaie, J.D., is a member of California State Bar and practices law in the state of California. He works for an aerospace corporation as real estate project manager and has been working for various commercial and aerospace companies in various capacities for over 15 years. He has operated his own business rendering financial and real estate services for over 16 years. He has been teaching at University of Phoenix for the past nine years in the areas of Business and Employment law, Economics, US Constitution, Procurement, Ethics and other variety of courses in the MBA and Undergraduate programs.
