An elective course in the Management of Business Contracts Certificate Program.
Learn what it takes to source, procure, negotiate and draft international contracts. Ensure the success of your international contract by acquiring an insider's view of contract negotiation, and financial analysis, while learning how to select the most appropriate terms and conditions with an understanding of international business contract principles. Explore major aspects of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracting for International Sale of Goods (CISG), Incoterms 2000, letters of credit and much more. University of California, Irvine Extension is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider (provider number 2560). Eligible participants will earn up to 30 hours of general MCLE credit. MCLE hours are based on the actual number of hours a student is logged in to the course, up to a maximum of 30 hours. This course is conducted through our online course management system. Sanh Tran, M.B.A., C.P.I.M., C.T.L., has twenty years in the international business. He has managed international commercial contracts, global logistics, global supply chain and global purchasing positions responsible for a wide array of products and services. Tran's experience encompasses international import & export contracts, joint venture charter, and agreements with the domestic and international commercial firms, international shipping lines, and foreign subsidiaries.
