An elective course in the Web Design and Development Specialized Studies Program. Flash™ is part of Adobe Systems' suite of creative digital media products and a ubiquitous presence on the world's personal computers. It allows you to create high-impact, rich web content for display on virtually any computer regardless of the browser of platform being used. This course introduces Flash™ design and shows you how to include Flash objects on your web pages. You'll learn how to make your web designs even more compelling with moving images and other dynamic effects. Prerequisites: I&CSCI X471.03 Web Development with HTML. This course is conducted through our online course management system. In addition, there are two scheduled WebEx sessions. For students with an older version of Adobe Flash, please purchase the textbook that matches with your version.
Kevin Hanegan, B.S., is the author of 4 programming books: Building State-of-the-Art Web Pages, Custom CGI Scripting with Perl, Practical Guide to Curl, and Building Solutions with the DecisionSite Analytics Platform. He has worked for a variety of software companies, universities, and corporate training centers as a course developer, trainer and consultant. He currently is Director of Educational Services for TIBCO Software.
