An elective course in the Web Design and Development Specialized Studies program. Course formerly titled: Web Development with DHTML. This course is conducted through our online course management system. In addition, there are two scheduled WebEx sessions as shown below.
Learn how to use dynamic HTML (DHTML) to enhance your web pages with dynamic effects that include animations, event captures (such as keystrokes and mouse-overs), drag-and-drop effects, and much more. You'll learn fundamental DHTML concepts and explore the most important components individually in detail. At the end of the course, you'll have the opportunity to apply what you've learned to create dynamic web pages of your own. Prerequisites: I&CSCI X471.03 Web Development with HTML and I&CSCI X471.04 JavaScript Programming. See enrollment confirmation for login information.

Kevin Hanegan, B.S., is the author of 4 programming books: Building State-of-the-Art Web Pages, Custom CGI Scripting with Perl, Practical Guide to Curl, and Building Solutions with the DecisionSite Analytics Platform. He has worked for a variety of software companies, universities, and corporate training centers as a course developer, trainer and consultant. He currently is Director of Educational Services for TIBCO Software.
