Gain the knowledge and skills needed to develop Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 Web applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. This course focuses on basic user interface development, Web site structure and functionality, and implementation details. Prerequisites: Use the Microsoft Visual Studio.NET integrated development environment and tools; program an application using a .NET compliant language (such as Visual Basic.NET or C#); share assemblies with other applications; understand basic XML concepts; understand HTML and client-side scripting.

Kugan Kandasamy, Ph.D., Independent consultant. He has more than 23 years of experience in software development and computational mechanics. He is the chief architect of the TitlePoint project at Fidelity National Financial. He co-founded the Orange County .NET users group and has authored several publications. He has taught C++, MFC and COM for more than five years and .NET for more than seven years. He specializes in distributed enterprise applications that use service oriented architectures.
