Crystal Reports Workshop 1-Introduction (Section 1)

This two-day, interactive workshop was designed for new users of Crystal Reports XI. Some of the topics covered include a review of the software features, report design, and the creation of presentation quality reports.The course incorporates a number of hands-on exercises to reinforce the learning process. Audience: Administrators, developers and end-users who need to create dynamic reports from varying data sources. Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Windows 2000 or XP environment is required. Familiarity with relational database concepts (tables, fields, and records) is strongly recommended.

Victor T. Wu, M.S., is a CTO and co-founder of EmpowerTrain, an Irvine-based company that offers high-end training on technologies including Oracle Database, Sun Solaris, Microsoft technologies. He has worked in the information systems field for the past 25 years as developer, information architect, director, and CIO. His expertise includes C++, Java programming, Oracle database and SQL Server development, high availability and performance tuning, Sun Solaris security and system tuning. He is frequently involved in large scale database and system tuning projects in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Wu is a UCLA graduate, Oracle Certified DBA, Oracle Certified Developer and holder of three Oracle Masters. Wu received UC Irvine Extension's Distinguished Instructor Award (2003) and UCLA Extension's Distinguished Instructor Award (2007).
