A required course in the Certificate Program in Human Resources Management.
A required course in the Certificate Program in Human Resources Management. This course will enable you to conduct training that effectively meets the needs of your organization. You will apply concepts of adult learning to create training that hold the interest of participants, resulting in high levels of retention. Creative use of technology and teaching methods and evaluation will be examined. You will also gain practical experience through the delivery of your own training. Prerequisites: Mgmt X450.1 Foundations of Human Resources Management.

Amy McLysaght, M.A., has a unique professional background, which combines experience in human resources, business, and health education. She specializes in developing and delivering wellness education programs to employees, executives and communities groups. She is currently developing a training program to bring health education to low income families and other special populations. Amy received her M.A. in Wellness from Chatham University, with a specialization in wellness education; and her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She also teaches Fundamentals of Corporate Wellness, Organizational Psychology and Stress Management in the Workplace.
