Finance for the Non-Financial Manager (Section 1)

A required course in the Certificate Program in Business Administration.
This course is for those individuals who are or will be asked to assume finance, cost, and budget responsibilities and for individuals who interface and work with accounting and finance departments. Content of the course includes selected aspects of finance from a non-financial specialist perspective. Specific topics include: financial analysis; planning, forecasting, and budgeting; cash flow, and strategic financing. This class will be interactive and will require the active involvement of the participants in finance related activities. Last refund date is Oct 14, 2009. Early registration recommended.

Leonard Pramudinatha, M.B.A., works in the Analytics group at Financial Freedom Corporation, the leading financial provider for Reverse Mortgage. He has over ten years of experience in financial services industry. Pramudinatha's wide variety industries experience includes asset management, auto finance, mortgage, and public finance. His prior employers were Fortune 500 companies such as Washington Mutual, Countrywide Financial, and Ford Credit. He was a manager at Washington Mutual responsible for the Home Loan Division reporting needs, and he was an Administrative Manager, for County of Orange, responsible for budget monitoring. He has considerable expertise in financial reporting, loss projections, statistical analysis, key performance indicator, and budget monitoring. Pramudinatha received his M.B.A. from University of Denver and completed his B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA.
