FPA Residency Program (Section 1)

MGMT X435  (4.5)

This course is designed for participants who have recently completed a CFP Board-approved financial planning program (generally within the last three years) and who desire an intensive, case study- focused learning experience based on small group and one-on-one interactions with leading, experienced practitioners that is designed to provide a "jump start" in establishing one's financial planning practice. During the week, teams of approximately seven "residents" each will work with the Mentors to develop financial plans based on three to four case studies. Each team will present its cases to the group for critique and discussion. Additionally, group lectures and small "rap sessions" will be held on various topics throughout the week, including many in the area of practice management. Prerequisite: Completion of Personal Financial Planning Practicum or equivalent CFP program. Early registration recommended. Last refund date is Sept 26, 2008.
