This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to build and configure a Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) solution. Topics include: create sequential workflows, state machine workflows, implement conditional branching in a workflow, forward chain rules, handle events from the host process, consume and publish workflow services, hydrate and dehydrate workflows, create and manage transactions in a workflow.
Peter Partch, M.S., MCP, is an independent consultant specializing in Microsoft Windows user mode and kernel mode development. He has been working as a professional software developer since 1983 and has been working exclusively with Windows technologies since 1992. Peter has been teaching classes at UCI since 1997 and has taught: Win32 development using C/C++, MFC, COM development in C++, ATL, .Net Framework, .Net Security (including CAS and the various crypto classes), and Windows Forms. Current classes include: WPF, WCF, WWF, and Silverlight
