Spa Retail Management (Section 1)

An elective course in the Spa and Hospitality Management Certificate Program.
As more spa managers are expected to provide financial results, the spa retailing function is being viewed as a strong profit generating source. This course focuses on the issues associated with spa retail management, the necessary retail mix as well as the importance of the staffing and training of the retail team. Additional topics include solid strategies and tactics to develop a clear and precise retail plan along with the process for immediate implementation. Pam Pesetti, B.A., has over 25 years of retail experience working in sales, management, merchandising, consulting and store ownership. She has ten years of direct experience in spa retail consulting for industry standards: Osmosis and Calistoga Ranch. She also has been directly involved in design, buying and merchandising spa environs. Pam blends corporate training with small business experience for a balanced view of retail.
