A prerequisite course in the Certificate Program in Embedded Systems Engineering, the Specialized Studies Program in DSP Systems Engineering, and the Specialized Studies Program in Device Software Engineering. Embedded software can be found in many electronic devices today. Increase your understanding of the essential embedded language features required for embedded systems programming. Embedded software developers benefit from this hands-on course by expanding their knowledge of using pointers and arrays, bit manipulation, using key words such as "volatile" and "register," and learning more about source code solutions to common embedded software problems. Prerequisite: Familiarity with C programming.
Aaron Baranoff, B.A., co-founder, MataiTech LLC, has been developing software and drivers for embedded microprocessors as well as WINDOWS and LINUX for over 20 years. He has extensive experience designing and delivering portable device drivers for multiple platforms and architectures including co-simulation environments. Baranoff also has extensive field and lab experience. The drivers he has developed have been used in many products, and have been used in conjunction with VxWorks, VRTX, PSOS, Windows, Linux, and many other operating systems that are both real time and non real time. Baranoff also has ASIC and FPGA design experience.
