Finding and Investing in Foreclosures (Section 1)

MGMT 835.1  (1.8 CEU)

This is a course on how to find and invest in home foreclosures. In this course, the learner will be taken through various stages of the foreclosure process, from introductions to the loan era, to bank ownership, finding foreclosures, what to do to make money in a strong foreclosure market, "gotcha's" to look out for, and the role the Internet has played in the ability for average investors to take part in this marketplace. The course will focus on leveraging as a primary tool for building investment portfolios, finding a starter home or moving up to a bigger or better place to live. Students will be required to purchase a RealtyTrac subscription for assignments. Subscription price is approximately $40. Please refer to course syllabus at the start of class for more information.
