The 10-Week Intensive ESL Program has
significantly improved my speaking and writing. The professional
and well-trained instructors work closely with each student to
achieve successful results. Also, I benefited from the exposure
to the American educational system and culture, which helped me
get my ‘student spirit’ back after not attending school
for a long time.
Knowing that my English skills are strong enough to meet American
university degree program requirements, I am more confident to
start my graduate program.

The enthusiastic and inspiring instructors from the 10-Week Intensive
ESL Program helped me keep up with American students in my Evening
Certificate Program (ECP) in Business Administration. The ECP
has given me a deep understanding of not only the foundations
of business administration, but also of American values and culture.
I am sure that this experience will help me achieve my future
career goals.

The UC Irvine Accelerated Certificate Programs
(ACPs) were a vital step to my professional career, because I
had the opportunity to apply the valuable knowledge and skills
learned into the real business life of my internship program.
My internship at Laguna Cliffs Marriott
was the greatest opportunity for my professional career. While
I improved my English skills, I also learned the business culture
in the United States.

The International Hospitality Management Certificate Program opened
an array of possibilities of what the hospitality industry can
offer me. The instructors are professionals whom are experts in
their field and bring practical and real-life learning.
Through my internship at The Ritz Carlton, Dana Point, I received
professional training as a Quality Analyst to execute projects
to improve the guests’ hotel experience. Next, I am excited
to return to The Ritz Carlton through the OPT program.
