Evening Certificate Programs (ECPs)

Overview

Campus PhotoUC Irvine Extension offers nearly 40 ECPs led by instructors with extensive industry and professional experience. The courses integrate you, the international professional, with American professionals and offer the latest in cutting-edge research and technologies, while utilizing the collaborative and practical approach in the classroom that you can apply immediately on the job. Many ECPs can be completed in six months of full time study. Certificate Requirements

All certificate program course requirements and electives must be completed with a grade “C” or better in each course, unless otherwise noted.

All certificate programs at UC Irvine Extension require professional-level English language proficiency in listening and note-taking, reading comprehension and vocabulary, written expression, and oral presentation. International students who do not meet certificate program admissions requirements are invited to enroll first in one of our English language program offerings.

Length of Time

Some certificates can be completed in six months of full-time study; many take nine months to a year. The time required to complete a certificate program can vary depending on a variety of factors, including course sequencing, scheduling and demand.

Tuition Price

Campus PhotoQuarterly tuition includes an international student fee of $1,300 ($1,500, effective summer 2011) and the individual course fees. Average quarterly tuition: $4,000 (for other costs see Tuition & Fees).
