International Graduate Studies Preparation Program
Academic Program
IGSPP offers two tracks of study, the IGSPP ACCESS track and the IGSPP ACP track. The two options for study in either track depend on the English language proficiency of the applicants, based on submitted TOEFL/IELTS scores.
IGSPP ACCESS Track
This track provides the flexibility for students to complete upper-division UCI undergraduate courses in their chosen field, allowing them to become familiar with major courses at UCI, meet pre-requisites for graduate study, and make valuable connections with UCI faculty. Students whose TOEFL score is below 550 PBT/71 iBT (7.0 IELTS), or who do not otherwise demonstrate sufficient English proficiency, must complete at least one quarter in UC Irvine Extension's 10-Week Intensive ESL Program before enrolling in the academic portion of the program.

*Quarters offered vary; see Descriptions of ACPs below for quarters in which each ACP is offered.
