SC 206 WATER FOR OUR FUTURE

Providing sufficient clean and safe water where and when it is needed is critical to the quality of life in Orange County. In this series experts will discuss what needs to be done, what research is required, and how the agencies and UCI are planning to meet these needs.

Week One: Supplying and Conserving Drinking Water.

Week Three: Treating and Re-using Waste Water
Presenters from the Irvine Ranch Water District and William Cooper PhD. UCI Urban Water Research Center

Week Four: Water Supply and Quality as Affected by Natural Disasters and Climate Change
Presenters: UCI and water agency researchers and OLLI Members

Week Five: Tours of the IRWD San Joaquin Marsh Treatment System or the Michelson Water Reclamation Plant (individual choice)
