Is There a Science of Happiness?

Dr. Jeff Mason has agreed to another set of lectures in the "Philosophy and the Art of Living" series. The seventh offering probes a question philosophers have been discussing for as long as philosophy has existed. It is the nature and possibility of happiness. Dr. Mason, in his own delightful way, will give us the views of ancient philosophers, as well as current opinions on the science of happiness. This presentation will certainly interest his past students and encourage new ones to deliberate on questions of happiness.

Presenter: Jeff Mason, Ph.D., is a professor of philosophy at CSU Fullerton since his return to the U.S. after a long career at Middlesex University, London. He has published three books and maintains a blog on the web site of The Philosophers Magazine, UK.
