How does a language work? What makes human language different from the communication of other species? Why do languages change?
Session 2: Context, Words, and Meaning: From Baby talk to Language
The presenter will share her adventures as a child language researcher, including her current collaboration as an Affiliated Scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology.
Presenter: Sue Braunwald, PhD, (UCLA, Developmental Psychology) and OLLI member has 40 years of experience in child language research. Her specialty is the early stage of language development.
