By Marla Miller More than 300 people joined together at the Sutton Place Hotel in Newport Beach to celebrate UC Irvine Extension's Women's Opportunities Center. The annual event has been named the Amelia Earhart Awards Luncheon, and this year Patty Oslinker-Moore, executive director of the Mariposa Women's and Family Counseling Center, received the Earhart nod for her role in assisting women afflicted by various addictions.
The event was sponsored by a consortium of involved local business leaders, including representatives from Allergan Foundation, Nordstrom, OC Business Journal, Experian, Rohl Corp., Goodwill Industries, Northern Trust Bank, Pro-Care One Nurse Staffing Agency, Eastwood Insurance, Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger and Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
Patty Oslinker-Moore, Victoria Curtin and Sophie Hall Cripe took part in the Amelia Earhart Awards Luncheon at Sutton Place in Newport Beach to celebrate UC Irvine Extension's Women's Opportunities Center. Oslinker-Moore was this year's award recipient.
