Kirwan Rockefeller

Kirwan Rockefeller director of UC Irvine Extension's Arts, Humanities and Fund-Raising programs, was recently appointed to the Newport Beach Arts Commission. The commission advises the city council on all artistic, aesthetic and cultural aspects of the city and encourages programs for the cultural enrichment of the community.

Rockefeller has also been appointed vice president of the Newport Beach Film Festival, which in April drew nearly 20,000.

Before joining UCI Extension, Rockefeller served as director of education for the Entertainment Industries Council Inc. and Universal Studios Hollywood as well as assistant professor of the California Graduate Institute.
