UC Irvine Extension Course Features the Writings of Investment Expert Warren E. Buffet

IRVINE, Calif. – October 2003 – During a four-meeting course offering this fall, UC Irvine Extension will examine Warren E. Buffett's investment principles through his writings, and explore the methods he used to turn a personal investment of $100,000 into $35,000,000.

Written from the 1960's to the present and now compiled in an easy to read format, these writings contain the most profound and credible investment guidance ever published from Buffett, who was recently listed as number two on Forbes' list of 400 richest Americans. In his humorous and engaging writing style, Buffett identifies the methods he used to become one of the wealthiest investors in the world through essays and letters to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders. Students will gain practice applying these methods using real-world examples.
