- 0.25% interest rate reduction if you sign up to have payment withdrawn from bank account electronically through E-Z Pay during repayment. Automatically receive a 0.50% interest rate reduction on remaining term of your loan if your first 48 monthly CitiAssist™ Loan payments are made on time.
- No payments while you're in school or during the six-month grace period immediately following graduation.
- Choose to pay interest only for 24 or 48 months if you desire.

Application Process
- School information for your application: UC Irvine Extension, ED school code 000901; Campus code 00; school telephone (949) 824-5191. Indicate you are a Graduate, year 5 student on the loan application.
- Apply online for a five minute credit approval from 7am to 11pm EST daily.
- Carefully read the instructions and the promissory note before completing the application. The co-signer, if required, should complete the application section, and sign the application.
- If you are initially declined, please call the Citibank representative at (800) 745-5473 for further information.
- If the loan is approved, Citibank will send student loan check made payable to the school to UC Irvine Extension.
- UC Irvine Extension will contact you when student loan check has been received.
