Motorist Assistance Service
Parking & Transportation provides the personnel and equipment necessary to assist you in the case of a dead battery or keys locked in the vehicle. Call Parking and Transportation Services until 5pm at (949) 824-7486. From 5pm to 10pm, call the Special Events Parking Office at (949) 824-2691 for assistance. A valid parking permit is required for service. The Parking & Transportation office will also provide phone assistance to contact a vendor for mobile vehicle service.

Escort Services
The UC Irvine Police Department offers the Safety Escort program, a free service to members of the community. The objective of the program is to provide a safe alternative to walking alone at night. This service is available 7 days a week from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am during the winter (daylight savings time) and from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am during the spring/summer. Safety Escorts are equipped with radios that allow them to keep in constant contact with the Police. When requesting an escort, please call (949) 824-SAFE (7833) and provide the dispatcher with the following information: your name, your location, a phone # where you can be reached and your destination.
